Operation Amy - Postcard Blitz
With our Save Gilmore Girls campaigns, we already got The CW as well as Lauren and Alexis covered. Now who is missing there? Right, Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Dan - the creators of this amazing and beloved TV show. That's why we created 'Operation Amy - Postcard Blitz'. This is a do-it-yourself-campaign where EVERYONE can participate since you simply need money for a stamp.

When do we send them?
Project Postcard Blitz started on August 18 and will last until October 30 (presumably), since this is when Jezebel James stops filming. The postcards can be sent anytime as long as they arrive by the end of October.
What exactly do we send?
As the name of the campaign already says -> postcards! Of course you can also send letters, pictures, posters, etc. but for the effect of the campaign it is necessary that many people use the same format to express their feelings to Amy and Dan.
You can choose the size, the picture ... you can design it on the computer or handicraft your own and you can also download finished postcards from here and just write on it, what you want to tell the Palladinos.
*) Microsoft Word has a postcard template you can use to create your postcard. It uses a 4 by 6 in card by Avery No. 8389. If you don't know how to access it, send us an E-mail and we will provide the instructions.
*) Frannie already created a bunch of cool pictures on imagechef.com - take a look around and if you find a picture you like, feel free to use it for the postcard. We only demand to please don't remove imageschef's copyright from the picture. You can find Frannie's album here
Where do we send them?
As Amy has recently moved to New York and is filming Jezebel James there, we figured that the best way would be, to send the postcards to the filming studio. The address is:

What should we write on the card?
Let your mind wander! Tell her everything that you have to tell her. What you love about her, her work. Why you love Gilmore girls so much. How the show has changed your live. Why you need it to continue in some form etc.
Be creative and be polite! Don't blame her for leaving the show - we don't really know what happened behind the curtains.
